Signing day is next Wednesday and this year is shaping up to hold our interest up until the end of the day unlike recent years where every single commit was on board for a year and sent their letters in by noon or so. There are several good names out there on the table (Avery Young, Josh Harvey-Clemons, Sheldon Dawson and more recently JaQuay Williams - originally committed to Auburn last summer - to name a few) that have shown significant recent interest in becoming a Bulldog. There's also a few names that are being held close to the vest because some guys are committed to other schools. Evidently one or more of those guys may surprise us on signing day. Mark Richt and company are bouncing all over the place to try and stay in touch with these guys and sway them and their families in the direction of UGA.
In the meantime, I hope they can figure out the Chester Brown situation and he can end up coming to UGA. He made it sound fairly certain that he wasn't going to continue to pursue the matter with the board of regents, but maybe someone can pipe up and make this thing happen. I hate to see a kid that is actually all about the school not get a chance to go there, unlike a lot of these kids that see it as a speed bump on their way to the NFL.
On signing day, I'll try to stay on top of whose letter is in and I plan to pull some pics and videos into a thread. ESPN will be on campus as part of their 10 hours of live coverage, so look for highlights there too. I'm going to try to keep up on ESPN3 and georgiadogs.com among other sites.
