This is not directed at you Jrock
-------------------- The fucking Braves are fine! They've hit a little skid here lately. Nbd. I see motherfuckers freaking out all over the internet boards and twitter. The Braves will be ok as is. That shit pisses me off! If you are so stupid that you freak out because we lost a few games then you don't know anything about baseball or the way the world works. You are not going to win every game! You are not going to win every series! That's just how it is. The Braves are going to win more than they lose for the rest of the year and that's a fact. It might be a tight race with the Phillies, or it might not. My God what a nation of whining pussy losers this country has become. |

Honestly, I don't understan all of this talk about "trading for a bat." I think it has more to do with lighting a spark than actually getting a guy that can hit. The only real move that they could make that would be an obvious improvement is if they picked up another good left handed batter. As it is, they get left handed pitching stacked up against them.

I don't think they will make a move even though I would like to see one. With that being said, either way it is going to be a close race with the Phillies.

To compete for a world series the braves need a bat... Troy Glaus for the majority of the season has been in a slump minus the month of may and the first week in June.. we can't afford to have someone like that in the playoffs, I've wanted a bat far before we lost a few games.... and then you can look at Chippers Health lets say he gets hurt to miss the playoffs, theres another bat we lost.. I think the braves do need another bat, and it had nothing to do with losing a few games. Our minor leagues are loaded with talent, so we can afford to give up someone.
"Glory, glory to ole Georgia! Heroes have graced the field before you. Men with hearts, bodies and minds for which the entire Bulldog Nation can be
justifiably proud. The tradition of unbridled excellence demonstrated by these individuals and many others spans more than a full century. And now a new breed
of Bulldawg stands ready to take the field of battle. To assume the reigns of their Georgia forbearers and continue that tradition. Understanding that there is
no tradition more worthy of envy. No institution worthy of such loyalty as The University of Georgia. As we prepare for another meeting between the hedges let
all the Bulldawg faithful rally behind the men who now wear the red and black with two words. Two simple words which express the sentiments of the entire
Bulldawg Nation -- GO DAWGS!" -Larry Munson

They should go ahead and bring up Freddie Freeman and let him play first.

J/K about Freddie. He needs a little more time. Glaus isn't putting up the big home run/rbi numbers, but his on base % is good. And that is what we need in front of McCann.

I dont care what yall say we need a bat!!!! Been saying it all season. The pitching has been awesome( although Hanson has been lit up lately). I'm just a little worried we have ran out of gas so to speak. The good teams always make move this time of year. If we really want to win we need a bat!
