Yeah, I read on another board yesterday or the day before, that Da'rick and the Nance's wanted a two-fer deal, but CMR said they weren't offering a QB this class. Then when we offered Mason late, it really pissed them off and they felt like they had been lied to. Make sense to me. And I could see how they would feel that way, because essentially, they had been lied to. But oh well, whatever.

Posts: 881 02/05/10 3:49	Meh, doesn't bother me any. Kennan Allen wanted a 2 for 1 deal at Bama and Saban basically told him to fuck off. I didn't want that Nance kid at UGA, he isn't a D1 player.

CMR knew that he didn't want Nance under any circumstances....we didn't have a ton of extra schollies laying around this year. So they made up the story of Gray moving to receiver as a reason they decided to take a QB. Nance was committed to Vandy, so they offered Mason at that point.. Crazy?? Well then why did CMR say on signing day that Gray would work with the QB's in the spring? Somethings not adding up. The Gray to receiver thing was a big enough deal for us to sign a qb, but yet in the spring he's still going to play qb? I really couldn't care less either way but this scenario sounds like something that I would do.
