The downside to that would be that Notre Dame would be in a BCS bowl every year with Meyer at the helm. That's probably the lesser of two evils, but it
sure has been nice not having them on top of the world the last several years. Their love from the national media has still been disgusting.

Then again, Meyer might go to ND and flop. It don't matter how good a coach you are, you can't win without talent. And ND just don't have the
talent to compete with the big boys now. They recruit on a national level, but they have very tough admission policies where a lot of the elite athletes just
can't get into school there. It's almost an impossible situation to compete for nat. titles up there anymore unless the administration relaxes their
admission requirements.
