Make a simple syrup of 1 cup water to one cup sugar. Get some good light colored rum.

Get some limes and mint. Cut a lime in half and squeeze the juice into a glass, throw lime halves in...bruise a handful of mint and throw it in. Put in a good amount of rum and enough simple syrup to take the edge off the rum, add ice, shake it up and your good to go. Will wipe you out if you're not careful.

my own preference is for a breakfast type drink or two befor emoving onto whiskey and beer

so i start the morning off with an irish coffee or bloody mary or whatever....

here's my irish coffee recipe, not a true irish but close enuf

1. grab a solo cup
2. 1/2 shot of whiskey in there
3. 1.5 shots of irish cream
4. 1.5 shots of butterscotch scnapps
5. fill remaining cup with coffee

a couple of those and you'll be good to go

my bloody mary recipe is very lazy

1. one solo cup
2. 2 shots of vodka
3. spicy hot v8

it works well though
