It's funny....I just typed what I heard. Not what was actually said. Would be interesting to contrast it with an actual transcript of the call in show. I would bet on my take!

I have made my living off reading people. Not only what they say but how they say it. What I heard, was that the importance of significant improvement has been made to CMR. And it's up to him as to how he achieves that. I think next year is his last...

Oh....just heard one more question. About how closely Evans stays on coaches about their performance and their assistant coaches performance. He says that he will voice his opinion, but that the head coach is the one that makes decisions regarding assistants and performance. And that his decisions are only about head coaches. Hmmmmm. That could mean a lot or it could mean nothing. But the general tone from his voice didn't point to CMR being gone at all!

Caller: CMR is a good coach. But how would this team look if Staff and Knowshon hadn't left this year? And he was a semi pro qb and he could pick apart Willies D...wtf?

Evans: Yes CMR is a good coach. Talked about the implications of kids leaving early for the NFL. Didn't even address the Willie comment. I think that says a lot.

Ok dawgs, Evans isn't saying shit. And I've got some drinking to do! Signing off!

Caller for Evans: LSU practiced for Tech with the scout team running with no ball!! (Pretty good idea imo) Then a question aboout the uni's nbd. Said that GT is susceptible to the crossing route. Then talks about the fire shown by BVG and wtf has happened since he left?

Evans: Richt is aware of that (about the LSU practice technique). Says there will be no more uniform gimmicks for a while. He sounded pretty confident about that. And basically said that CMR and staff are watching the tape and will do whats best.

Next caller: If Locke and Cobb from Kentucky kept beating us around the outside, how can we expect to do any better against tech? And then brought up the undisciplined play all around.

Richt: Corners and safety's are going to have to step up. Because our D-lineman are going to be focused on stopping that dive play. And that it's impossible to simulate their offense with the practice squad.

Richt will NEVER put the blame on the coaches. NEVER!!! I think that it is pretty evident that it is the coaching. Yeah Joe Cox is Tereshinski light but fucking a. Could we have had that bad of a "talent" for so long? No. It all boils down to the coaching and the "just get by" attitude.

Next caller: How does he feel about Murray and Mettenberger for next year? And what about losing all the d-lineman after this year?

Richt: We will have a competition in the spring to see who can seperate themselves at qb. But he's very excited about our qbs in the future. D-line is a concern, but we have a stable full of promising young guys to replace them.

Next caller: questions Bobo's play calling. Richt asks for an example. He gives the fumbled toss sweep to Ealey and one other example. The caller was pissed.

Richt: The toss sweep is a play we run all the time and Washaun fucked it. Blames it on youth again. But says we have a strong future at the skill positions.
